The stylish restaurant, bar and lounge CottoCrudo opened at Four Seasons Hotel Prague on March 2, 2012. CottoCrudo, which means “cooked and raw,” introduced a new dining and lounge concept to the city. An Italian classics menu with a modern twist, a central culinary station with prime Italian delicacies, variable seating options and a unique design showcases the latest in dining trends. Japanese fusion menu is served in MIRU, a pop up restaurant on the roof top terrace open in summer months. Piazzetta, another summer pop up restaurant on the terrace next to the river serves a casual Mediterranean cuisine.

What have we done?

  • ... we are no longer using plastic straws. They might look similar but they are made out of corn starch and to 100% sustainable.
  • ... all plastic bottles in the outlets and private bar are in the process of being exchanged to glass bottles.
  • ... all plastic to-go items are now made of paper, aluminium and recyclable products (still looking for a proper lid for the to-go coffee cup).
  • ... the culinary team is replacing one-time plastic items to re-usable and washable plastic containers.
  • ... we are serving our gelato in Piazzetta only in the cone (not paper cup) and bamboo spoons.
  • We are still in the process of exchanging all plastic products but getting closer and closer every day.
