The four innovative bars and restaurants at Alila Shanghai offer a wide variety of wellness-oriented culinary experiences, showcasing the local neighborhood through authentic native flavors. The restaurants adhere to a ‘farm-to-table’ philosophy, providing fresh, seasonal, and sustainable local produce—organic where possible—while the accompanying wine lists feature selections from boutique vintners. Each dining experience honors local food traditions, the people that make it possible, and the ability to ultimately deliver it to guests in a creative way all while keeping the regional legacy alive.

The pesticide-free fruits and vegetables grown in the 5th floor organic garden are used as ingredients for the restaurant's dishes, enriching the guests' gastronomic experiences. The hotel ensures that while providing delicious dishes to guests, it also pays attention to the sustainable utilization of food.

A food management system has been introduced in the kitchen to maximize the value of each ingredient and reduce unnecessary waste.

Alila Shanghai uses the NORDAQ brand bottled water system: In order to protect the environment, plastic bottled water will no longer be used in the hotel. All bottled water served to guests within the hotel will come from the hotel's in-house bottled water production facility. The bottled water equipment uses the NORDAQ brand from Sweden, providing guests with a clean and safe drinking experience.

The hotel has selected eco-friendly room keys to reduce its impact on the environment and showcase our respect and care for nature. We will continue the practice of providing amenities in large bottles for guest rooms, which not only enhances the comfort of our guests but also effectively reduces waste of resources.
