Our Bay View Pool Villas are carved into the cliff side, offering sweeping views over the bay through floor-to-ceiling windows. Their terraces, with swooping heated infinity pools make for easy Instagram fodder come sunset, while feeling incredibly secluded from the rest of the resort.

Oliviera Restaurant is at the heart of the hotel, and the place to start your day with breakfast served at a vast tray featuring individual portions of Greek yogurt with local honeycomb, hams and cheeses, fresh figs, and traditional Greek pies of spinach for you to pick, alongside an à la carte menu. At Tahir, our Levantine Restaurant by the pool, enjoy labneh and hummus but also save room for the Omakase pizza experience at Pizza Sapienza. Created by chef Daniele Cason from Mandarin Oriental Tokyo, it is rolled out perfectly with a wine pairing.

Take a half-day sail around the bay and discover Voidokilia, one of the more popular beaches in Greece. It’s a pristine sandy beach shaped like a horseshoe. The sail includes other nearby beaches, but more interesting still is the tour of the monuments erected on different islands to commemorate 1827’s Battle of Navarino; one of the region’s most important historic events.

Have fun playing tennis at the Mouratoglou Tennis Center, founded by Patrick Mouratoglou, who has coached the likes of Serena Williams and Grigor Dimitrov, and offers an impressive setup of courts: hardcourts, red clay courts, and the only grass court in Greece.

For cultural experiences visit the Palace of Nestor, a beautifully preserved Mycenaean palace which you may recognize from Homer’s Odyssey, as the hero Nestor deployed 90 ships to fight in the Trojan War. There are many other archeological ruins to explore, including Methoni Castle, from the region’s era under the Venetians in the Middle Ages and the Castle of Pylos, a 16th-century fortress.
