Bungalows perched over water or tucked into the treetops, mangroves pressing in on all sides — Las Islas is Barú stripped of the resort circus. The sustainability credentials are genuine, not greenwashing theatre. Bring someone you actually want to talk to, because the isolation is total and the Wi-Fi will remind you of that. If your idea of a good trip involves cocktail bars and room service at midnight, this will feel like punishment. For everyone else, two or three nights here resets something.
