Overview
On the coast of Newport Beach in Southern California, The Resort at Pelican Hill sits perched upon 504 acres of sun-drenched hillsides. Inspired by the Italian Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, the resort village features expansive hotel accommodations with panoramic views of the Pacific. Newport Coast is home to Crystal Cove State Park that features 3.5 miles of sandy beaches and it is also close to all the entertainment and sporting attractions in Southern California.
The Villas
The Villas are a private enclave within the Resort that feel like a home away from home. Exceptionally spacious and comfortably appointed, the Villas invite guests to savor a gracious style of life unique to Pelican Hill. Each Two, Three and Four Bedroo Villa features a limestone fireplace, hand-hewn wood beam ceiling, marble bath, gourmet kitchen, washer & dryer, exclusive Clubhouse with pool & fitness center, Private one or two-car garage per villa, resort amenities and concierge service.
Bungalows
Pelican Hill offers 204 expansive bungalows tucked thoughtfully into terraced hillsides. This affords them unobstructed views of the fairways and sea. Each one-story Bungalow or Bungalow Suite features a limestone fireplace, private garden or ocean-view terrace, hand-hewn wood beam ceiling, marble bath and adjacent parking.
Dining
From the distinct flavors of Northern Italy, to the freshness of California cuisine, Pelican Hill presents inviting al fresco dining for every moment and mood. Our team of chefs has designed a full array of menus to surpass your highest expectations and complement your relaxing resort stay. Restaurants include Pelican Grill, Coliseum Pool & Grill, Caffè, and Caffè II.
Pelican Hill Golf Club
The Ocean North and Ocean South courses offer different playing experiences but share one thing: the view. Every hole has been designed to maximize the dramatic sight of the Pacific. Facilities include a clubhouse, men and women's locker rooms, Golf Shop, Caffè II and Pelican Grill & Lounge. There are a variety of classes and clinics available on request.

Pools:
Our iconic Coliseum Pool is one of the world’s largest circular pools, with tiered decks and luxurious cabana suites. More than one million glass mosaic tiles were laid by hand to form a perfect circle 136 feet in diameter. Inspired by Rome's magnificent namesake, this pool is the social hub of the resort, as guests lounge amid spectacular vistas of the golf course and ocean.
