Our take
Nobu San Sebastián makes sense when the whole point is eating well and waking up to the Bay of Biscay. The Michelin-starred restaurant isn't a hotel perk — it's the reason to come, full stop, in a city that already eats better than almost anywhere on earth. If you're hunting pintxos bars and whitewashed fishing villages, stay somewhere with more soul and less brand. But for a sharp, ocean-facing base where dinner is genuinely the event? Two or three nights here is hard to argue with.
