Art on every wall, a palazzo that earns the word, and the city's largest private garden breathing quietly next door — AdAstra is for the collector-type who reads room décor like a text and finds minimalist hotels vaguely depressing. This is soulful, layered, slightly obsessive in the best way. Come for two or three nights of Florence done at the right tempo. If you need a spa, a rooftop bar, or anything that resembles a resort infrastructure, don't. This place has no interest in any of that, and neither should you.
