Overwater villas, direct lagoon entry, and a house reef worth canceling plans for — Kothaifaru earns its remoteness. This is where couples disappear properly, not performatively. The understated elegance cuts deep; there's no lobby spectacle, no scene to be seen in. If you need a kids' club, a buzzing pool bar, or visible opulence to feel the money was spent, look elsewhere. But if two people and a reef is enough — and it should be — this is as close to silence done right as the Maldives gets.
