Perched above Ushuaia on its own hill, Arakur earns its place at the end of the world — Beagle Channel panoramas, a spa that actually delivers, and a heated pool straddling indoors and out when the Patagonian wind turns savage. Come here to decompress between treks into Tierra del Fuego, not to be near anything. The town is a ride away, the setting is deliberately removed, and that's the entire point. If proximity to restaurants or a walkable scene matters to you, book closer to the waterfront. This one rewards the deliberately isolated.
