Sarasota's art scene has a proper headquarters here — rooftop pool, live performances daily, and installations that actually make you stop walking. This is for the collector who wants the cultural pulse of the city without pretending a hotel lobby is a museum. Two or three nights works perfectly. If you came for Gulf Coast beaches and a swim-up bar, keep driving — the sand is elsewhere, and so is the resort infrastructure. But for anyone who'd rather argue about art over a cocktail than count palm trees, this is the address.
