Dionysiou Areopagitou is Athens' great pedestrian spine, and AthensWas sits on it with the quiet confidence of a building that knows exactly what it is. The Acropolis from the rooftop restaurant isn't a marketing promise — it's the whole point. Bring someone you want to impress, or come alone with a book and no agenda. Families hunting waterslides or spa weekenders chasing treatments should look elsewhere entirely. Two or three nights here, done right, is Athens at its most considered.
