Climate Change & Water

• "ECO" lamps or light bulbs are used, which are environmentally friendly when discarded

• Use of CFL and LED lights where possible and continuation of retrofitting

• Building temperatures are reset to outside climate conditions through the building’s energy management system that is monitored daily

• EPA “Water Sense” approved toilets installed in all guest rooms allowing only 1.28 gallons of water used per flush as opposed to 3.5 gallons in prior toilets

Waste & Circularity

• To avoid disposable water bottles, hydration stations and pitchers of water are available

• Partnered with– an organization that takes partially used bathing amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash) and either recycles them or distributed them homeless shelters and countries in need

• Use of recycled paper napkins, nonconfidential office paper and recycled paper products
