Chartrons is Bordeaux's antiques-and-natural-wine quarter, and this Indigo plants you squarely inside it — eclectic lobby art, a rooftop terrace with the city spread out beneath you, and the city's best cave à manger a short walk away. Come for the neighbourhood immersion and the views at golden hour. If your holiday requires a pool deck or a spa booking, look elsewhere — this isn't that hotel. Two or three nights here, done right, will make you feel like you actually live in Bordeaux.
