Overview
Le Sereno is an intimate family-owned and -operated St. Barths Beach hotel offering only 39 suites in addition to 3 large four-bedroom villas. Located on the beach at Grand Cul de Sac and spanning 600 feet of pristine shoreline, Le Sereno is one of only a handful of St. Barthelemy hotels that can claim a beachfront location (in this case, a virtually private beach). After a year of undergoing updates following Hurricane Irma, St Barth’s most iconic hotel debuts a new look from top to bottom with new guest amenities, consisting of a fresh new look to all guest rooms and all-new waterfront suites, a re-imagined Restaurant Le Sereno with an all-new beach restaurant extension, a retail concept store, an expanded spa featuring exclusively curated Valmont products and treatments, and elevated fitness offerings. Sustainability Initiatives +
Building the new Le Sereno provided an opportunity to take environmental impact into account in every aspect of the hotel. New solar panels, air conditioners with heat exchangers and LED lighting allow the hotel to offer new amenities to guests while significantly lowering energy consumption throughout the property. All of the new construction is made with sustainably sourced woods and stone. The entire property is outfitted with new windows and insulation designed to reduce energy consumption. Le Sereno also features on-site water desalinization capabilities where sea water is desalinized for hotel use, then treated and reused for irrigation; which allows the property to be completely “off the grid” from scarce city water resources.
