Some of our current initiatives include:
- Aim to be 100% single-use plastic free in 2020. Initiatives includes, but are not limited to, launching of biodegradable water bottles and introducing a Nordaq water filtration, eradicating plastic straws and plastic bathroom products.
- In 2019 colleagues gave over 6,400 hours back to Bangkok's disadvantaged communities.
- Regular independent energy audits with the goal of reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions by 5% per annum
- Operation of state-of-the-art fresh- and waster-water treatment plants to maximize the use of river water
- Shuttle boat engines are compliant with EU 3 Emission standards
- Waste recycling program & kitchen waste composting
- Low-temperature washing in the hotel laundry to improve water efficiency
- Regular river cleaning in cooperation with riverside hotels
