Overview
Masseria San Domenico is primarily an adults-only hotel but warmly welcomes guests aged 14 and over!
Nestled in the heart of Puglia just a few steps away from the Adriatic sea, Masseria San Domenico is an impressive 15th century tower, immersed in a landscape of century-old olive groves. It is a natural oasis of peace surrounded by narrow paths and ancient drystone walls.
After a careful restoration, completed respecting the old shapes and the original building materials, the tower was converted into a deluxe resort whose charm recalls the history of the region, a land where the Eastern and the Mediterranean cultures have mixed well together.Against the backdrop of the blue sky and sea, the whitewashed stone buildings stand out amidst ancient silver olive groves, among which there lies a magnificent irregularly-shaped pool encircled by rocks and plants.
At only 700 meters, the rocky coast hosts the exclusive beach of the hotel where guests can soak up some sun without the crowds.
The white stone rooms are decorated with antiques and elegant local crafts. Each room and suite is unique and offers magnificent views of the lush olive groves and the sea in the far distance.The hotel has 24 double rooms and Junior suites plus 16 suites all provided with minibar, satellite TV, direct-dial telephone and access to the Internet, safe box, air-conditioning and hair dryer.
Paying homage to its original use as an olive mill, the San Domenico restaurant offers specialities from the traditional Apulian cuisine, based on a rich selection of local vegetables grown in Masseria’s surrounding properties as well as home-made products which include the extra virgin olive oil.
During the long Apulian summer, sit at the romantic south facing terraces to enjoy aperitifs or relax at the poolside restaurant for a buffet lunch or a candle-lit dinner.
Recently opened, the seafood restaurant "La nassa" located in the "a mare" depandance promises an unfotgettable eating experince savouring the local fish and seafood delicacies.

Our hotel is highly committed to offering a sustainable holiday and therefore we have taken important steps to achieve this goal such as:
- Plastic has been replaced almost everywhere (from bottles to straws and from glasses to cloths cover)
- A huge investment has been made to install solar panels and therefore using as much as possible this renewable source of energy
- Wate is sorted to be recycled (paper, plastic, metals)
- Paper in the offices is recycled on a daily basis
- We encourage guests to let us know if they wish to keep their bath towels or linen sheet for more than one day
