Walk the château grounds before breakfast. That's the whole argument. Come here for stillness, for Loire Valley wines, for feeling briefly like someone who owns something extraordinary. If you need a spa, a rooftop bar, or anything resembling a city pulse, this is the wrong address entirely. Two nights minimum; anything less is just a photograph.
