Hyde Park Corner, a butler who knows your name by check-in, Celeste earning its Michelin star night after night — The Lanesborough doesn't perform luxury, it simply assumes it. This is London for people who find Claridge's too theatrical and The Connaught too quiet. Come for two nights minimum; any less and you won't settle in. If you want concrete and clean lines, go elsewhere — the Regency grandeur here is unapologetic, ornate, and entirely the point.
