Arrive by speedboat or don't bother — Naka Island operates on its own terms. Private pool villas, a serious spa, and the kind of enforced stillness that honeymooners and genuinely exhausted people actually need. The Andaman surrounds you; the mainland feels irrelevant. If you're after Patong's chaos, rooftop bars, or anything resembling a scene, this will feel like punishment. But for two people who want to disappear into something lush and unhurried, there's very little argument against it.
