Sustainability In Style - We believe in each individual’s responsibility to make a change. EDITION has made a commitment to become more sustainable in their operations and to support sustainability efforts across the community. We look forward to creating a cleaner world together.

Food Recycling - We have implemented separation between dry and wet waste, as well as sorting paper and glass for proper recycling.

Oyster Shell Recycling - Rather than discarding the shells of oysters consumed at our restaurant, The Clocktower, we set aside our shells for recycling through Billion Oyster Project: a NYC-based nonprofit organization with the goal of returning one billion live oysters to New York Harbor by 2035. Oysters serve as natural water filters because of their feeding techniques, which positively impacts the marine ecosystem. Their shells are collected from our property and dumped at a curing site where they are exposed to wind, rain, and more for one year until they are clean enough to re-enter New York Harbor.

Stay Plastic Free - SPF is a call to action for the hospitality industry–to implement policy changes to eliminate single use plastics from our hotels. Beginning with EDITION Hotels, SPF will set the standard for environmentally conscious hospitality eliminating single use products from use including straws, bathroom amenities, mini bar items, and room keys.
