Converted from an 18th-century incinerator building, this is Georgetown's most atmospheric address — exposed brick, working fireplaces, and a spa that actually earns its keep. The cobblestones are outside your door; the Potomac is a short walk. Forty-six rooms means the staff knows your name by checkout. Bring a partner or a client you want to impress. If you're arriving with children expecting pools and programming, or need a convention-center-adjacent base, look elsewhere. This is old Washington done quietly right.
