Our take
Nisantasi is Istanbul's answer to the 16th arrondissement, and the Westin plants you dead center in it — Chanel and Vakko within a short walk, the Heavenly Spa waiting when your feet give out. This is a hotel for people who came to shop, lunch well, and recover in comfort, not to photograph minarets. If you're chasing the Bosphorus view or Ottoman grandeur, you're in the wrong neighborhood entirely. Stay here for two or three nights of serious retail damage, done properly.
