Rome's ancient streets, Amalfi's cliffside calm, and Capri's blue grottos — 10 nights, no rush

The Colosseum stands empty after dark. That’s where your trip begins. An after-hours private tour, no crowds, just torchlit stone and two thousand years of history. You stay at the 47 Boutique Hotel, a short walk from the Forum. Four nights in Rome.

Morning two: early access to the Vatican Museums before the queues form. You move at your own pace. That afternoon, a food walk through Trastevere — supplì, cacio e pepe, a glass of house red at a table with no menu. Rome eaten properly.

Day five, you board the Frecciarossa to Naples, Executive class, just over an hour. A private car meets you at Napoli Centrale and takes the cliff road south. Your room at Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel opens onto open sea. You sleep to the sound of it.

Four days on the coast. A private car runs you to Positano one morning, Ravello the next. One afternoon you cook in a lemon grove — pasta, local oil, citrus from the tree above your head. The last evening: aperitivo on a Ravello terrace as the light goes gold.

From Amalfi, the hydrofoil to Capri takes one hour. JK Place Capri puts you above the marina with a rooftop pool and a staff-to-guest ratio that shows. Day one: a private boat into the Blue Grotto, the water lit electric blue from below. Day two: the Monte Solaro chairlift to the island’s high point, then back down through the village for gelato and a slow loop of the piazzetta.

The SNAV hydrofoil returns you to Naples in time for a last lunch before the flight home. Alp Travel Co. handles every transfer, every booking, every detail in between.

The Colosseum after dark, a lemon grove in Amalfi, a sea cave glowing blue — ten nights, one clean itinerary.
