The Americas for Indian travellers means, in practice, the United States — and the United States means the visa, which is the single most important logistical fact in this part of the portfolio. The B-1/B-2 tourist visa is valid for ten years once issued, but the application process can take several months in peak season. We raise this in the first conversation and treat the visa timeline as load-bearing from the start. A trip that is designed around a US application that has not yet been filed is a trip that may not happen.
Within the US, three distinct experiences: New York City, which earns every cliche and then some and deserves four nights minimum; California, which is two very different cities — Los Angeles and San Francisco — on the same coast; and Hawaii, which is geographically Pacific and emotionally in a category of its own. Most clients do New York first and add a second destination on a longer trip. The bicoastal version — New York and California or New York and Hawaii — is the shape that works best for a two-week visit.
