Art Deco bones, Franklin Mountain sunsets from the rooftop bar, and Ambar Restaurante doing serious work downstairs — this is El Paso's most atmospheric address, full stop. The kind of place that rewards guests who actually want to *feel* a city rather than just sleep in it. Come for two nights minimum, linger over drinks at the rooftop until the mountains go dark. If you're hunting a spa, a resort pool, or anything resembling a Vegas-style amenity package, don't bother — this hotel has a different agenda entirely, and it's a better one.
