Hôtel du Petit Moulin, Haute Couture hotel by Lacroix
PARIS, ÎLE-DE-FRANCE, FRANCE
Our take
Lacroix turned a 17th-century Marais bakery into something that reads less like a hotel and more like raiding a couturier's private archive — every room a different obsession, no two walls agreeing, all of it gloriously intentional. Fashion people, design obsessives, anyone who finds minimalism spiritually exhausting: this is yours. But hear the caveat clearly — the rooms are small, the amenities lean, and there is no spa softening the edges. Come for the theatre of it. Need square footage and a wellness floor? Paris has plenty of those. This isn't one.
Notable Features
- Christian Lacroix-designed interiors — every room a distinct, fully realised concept
- Historic 17th-century building in the Marais, originally a bakery
💡 Insider Tip
"Room 402 channels a Parisian attic — lower ceilings, intimate scale, and a remove from street noise that the lower floors don't always offer. Request it directly; it rarely gets flagged at booking."
