Our take
Moorea's lagoon does the heavy lifting here, and Manava knows it — overwater bungalows with glass floor panels, a dive center steps from the water, and a staff that actually seems happy to be there. This is Polynesia with its roots showing: earthy, warm, genuinely beautiful. But the polish stops where it starts. Water pressure is inconsistent, the luxury ceiling is modest, and if a Bora Bora-grade resort experience is the benchmark in your head, redirect the budget accordingly.
