Hôtel Fabric
PARIS, ÎLE-DE-FRANCE, FRANCE
Our take
A former textile factory turned sharp, design-forward hotel in the 11th — this is Paris for people who find the Marais too polished and the 8th insufferable. Oberkampf is alive, local, and slightly rough around the edges in the best way. The industrial bones are real: exposed brick, original machinery details, rooms that feel curated rather than decorated. Solo travelers and design obsessives will feel immediately at home. Come nowhere near it if you need a grand suite, a spa, or the postcard Seine view — this place doesn't pretend to be that, and that's precisely the point.
Notable Features
- Authentically converted 19th-century textile factory with preserved industrial architecture
- Embedded in the Oberkampf district — one of Paris's most genuinely local neighbourhoods
💡 Insider Tip
"Request a courtyard-facing room. The street side of Oberkampf doesn't sleep early, and the difference at midnight is significant."
