Eight rooms in a 16th-century Oltrarno palazzo — Ottantotto is Florence for people who actually know Florence. You're on the artisan side of the Arno, away from the selfie queues, inside walls that have been standing since the Medici were still relevant. Come here if the idea of a small, considered space in the right neighbourhood is enough. If you need a spa, a pool, or a lobby to impress clients, this isn't it. Two or three nights, done properly.
