Explorers Hotel Lisbon
The Ivens Hotel was home to the first luxury warehouse in the city in the XIX century as well as of the first Portuguese public radio station. Located in the iconic area of Chiado within the historical city quarter, the hotel has 86 unique and comfortable rooms of which nine are spacious suites including two signature top floor suites and seven premium rooms. The entrance was mapped to resemble the journey of Ivens and Capelo, two of greatest Portuguese explorers to unveil Africa back on the XIX century. The hotel holds three cinematic dining areas designed by Lazaro Rosa Violan who offer a journey through Italian cuisine, al fresco dining and a Barra area.
